A Langflow community report on October 9 says a date field in the Agent’s default prompt injects a second-level timestamp on every run, which may prevent later turns from hitting the prompt cache. The report suggests using a date instead, but public performance measurements and verification of an official fix are still lacking.

Microsoft launched Microsoft-Decision-1 on October 9. Post-trained from Qwen3.5-9B, it returns probabilities for predefined options in classification, routing, and agent action evaluation. The model is listed on Foundry and OpenRouter, but its performance and confidence calibration still need validation against real workloads.

On October 8, the Open WebUI community proposed an administrator-configured MCP citation mapping that would generate source markers directly from existing retrieval results. The project’s response noted that the Events API already supports citations; the new approach remains a partial prototype and is not yet an official feature.

Tenable disclosed a Hermes Agent native login vulnerability on October 9: differences in how the server and browser parse callback URLs could allow authorization codes to be sent to an attacker. The fix is included in v0.21.6, but the Desktop, Termux, and Microsoft Store packages were not updated alongside this release.

Ollama released v0.40.2 on October 8, fixing duplicate entries in the model list after migration of older models. Migration retains the original GGUF files to support downgrades, so engineering teams should account for disk usage and the need to re-download models if backups are deleted.

AutoGPT released Platform beta v0.8.3 on October 8, changing Ask First mode so a supervisor model reviews sandbox commands instead of prompting for each one. The update adds checks of script contents and shell login files, but coverage remains limited for indirect execution and file changes made after inspection.

JetBrains released Mellum2.1 Thinking on October 8. It retains the 12B MoE architecture and focuses this update on reinforcement learning in real software environments. The weights are licensed under Apache 2.0, but agent evaluation results are self-reported, and quantized deployments require separate validation.

An October 8 report from the Open WebUI community says a development build may reject generation requests when a reply message has already been created, preventing automations, sub-agents, and timers from writing answers. The same pattern appears in the documented server-side API flow, but the reporter says the latest stable release works; maintainers have yet to confirm or fix the issue.

A reproduction on the October 8 Transformers development build found that a uniform frame-sampling function may return more indices than requested, including a position beyond the available frames. The case can be checked without downloading a model, but its impact on stable releases and individual model processors remains unclear.

Nous Research released Hermes Agent v0.21.6 on October 8, fixing security issues involving dashboard login and configuration in untrusted repositories. The stable release includes Docker images and a Git tag; the desktop app and Termux package remain on their current versions.

LangGraph maintainers published a security advisory on October 7, reporting that the JS SDK modifies caller-provided header objects, which may cause clients to share credentials. The advisory lists patched versions, but the issue requires a specific shared-object configuration to trigger and is rated low risk.

Anthropic released Claude Haiku 5.5 on October 7, with adjustable reasoning effort and lower per-token prices for short prompts. AWS is offering the model as well, but long-prompt pricing, cross-region routing, and the cost of real-world tasks still need separate evaluation.
